Hi Abi, Gregor and all, thanks for a great thread - Praise the Lord! I'm a baby Christian, (born on the 4th of July -ggg-) and recently found this thread and read it from the beginning and have learned a lot from reading it. My life is like Night and Day in the last few months, and feel very very grateful for Christ Jesus opening my eyes and my heart.
In a certain way, I came to know our Lord thru SI and the stock market. I became a Stock Market Bear in late June and started studying stock market bubbles, 1929, 1987, 1973 and the Lord lead me into reading certain scriptures and then lit a fire in me to delve into end times prophecy. A stock market correction on the order of 29' would usher in the one world currency (the Asian currency crises will be a great excuse to make this happen) and with the United Nations we almost already have a one world government.
Abi, it's funny I should click on your post this morning after reviewing my Wednesday nite Bible study of John chapter 21, where Jesus tells Peter to follow Me, and don't worry about John (other men) what is that to thee 21:22.
God has been putting on my heart to buy gold for His Glory, recently and especially today. So I'm casting my net to the right side (grin). So seeing your post with 3 references to the gold eagle sight made me (grin) again.
It would be prudent of course to wait for an uptrend of 2-3 days before jumping in though.
