Why is any rest needed? SPX RSI is below 70. It can stay above it for a while like it did from 1450 to 15xx. Weekly RSI just went over 70 last week. It can stay there too for a while. If you look at the move from 1050 to 1350, I would think that this move could mirror that. If in size, then 1650 is in order. If %, then much higher.
