The underlying reason behind all the stupid, useless, unneeded, damaging liberal legislation ever passed A few years ago a Seattle radio host went ballistic over a State recruiting ad on the web. They were looking for someone to find new and creative ways to spend hundreds of millions -- or billions? I don't remember exact details, but the salary range was something like mid-$50's to low $80's or some such. That offer didn't imply they expected serious talent to apply; most any bum would do. The resulting mini-furor caused the ad to be quickly taken down, but it illustrated a cancer that infests most levels of government. And that's a concern only to the few dozen remaining right wing cranks. The average shlemiel can't figure out that the resulting accumulations of waste are crippling him, his, and their neighbors.
