I know at least one person, maybe more, that were employees of the first Whole Foods Market, which started in Austin, Texas. The one guy I know was a total dreadlocked hippie, he was a bagger, got granted some of those first Whole Foods Market stock options, and is a millionaire today. 2 bucks to 96 bucks, and who knows how many splits.
