I always appreciate that you respond to me Gottfried. I have all ready set the automatic scan for once a week but it has never worked. In fact I had it set for Saturday nights and every Sunday I would get the
message that the scanning had not been done in awhile and needed to be done.

SO this automatic scanning is not working for me. I have VISTA HOME and old computer but one that suits me as I do not do much on this thing but what I do do require it to work and I hate when that orange tags appears indicating that I need to SCAN as it has not been done in awhile.

Is there another virus program that I can use ? I do go into a brokerage account and do have my bank online so there is a need for security.

Should I be using a firewall. THE COW used to use Team Viewer and come on my computer and make things right. So I never really learned much as he did it all. WHAT a dear friend.

What do you suggest that I do since automatic Essentials does not work.
