John, hope you get this. Yes, America needs all of God's blessings we can get. We, as a nation, have strayed so far from the original ideas of our country. I'm convinced that Satan would love to destroy America to stop our tremendous missionary outreach to the world. In America we stand within the fortress of God's protection as we bombard the world with His love. All who will look can see that "The Word" marches on, right from our country. God is using us and others to fulfill the promise to Abraham(Gen 12, Gal 3).
" Mat 5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you
Mat 5:45 in order that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."
Don't we glorify our Father when we act like The Son?
Jesus loved His enemies and ask The Father to forgive them. Can we do any less?

John 14:31 but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
