PERTH, AUSTRALIA, 1997 DEC 5 (Newsbytes) -- By David Frith, Computer Daily News. The Australian Stock Exchange has queried Perth-based Formulab Neuronetics following a dramatic downturn in its stock price. Formulab's shares closed yesterday at $0.096, down 50 percent for the week and a long way below the high of $1.35 recorded last year.

The company last year claimed it had developed a neural computer capable of human-style reasoning, but has so far failed to deliver.

Company secretary Claire Marshall said yesterday the company had no idea why its share value was slipping.
