No. It was about a frustrated majority who resent a well off minority. The minority is used as a scapegoat by the government in order deflect the public anger off itself. Furthermore, the religion is used as a tool of statecraft in fanning nationalist flames and by extension garnering support for government against outside pressure...does that remind you of Crystal Night?

And yes, given that my town is part of the world and none of its Muslims of the crazy rampaging slaughtering variety, then your statement in as much as "all over the world" part is concerned is proved false.
