Hi Evan,

I enjoy your posts very much. So don't take my forthcoming comments as unduly critical! They're not meant to be.

Again, for the record: I'm a loyal shareholder in FTEL, still have tremendous faith in Frank and co., and so am one of those long-term holders not very worried about the current low (in my opinion) trading position of the stock. Indeed, I'd chalk up our present price situation much more to Franklin's still being traded on the OTC (where the MMs can play their games with seeming impunity) than to anything else.

However, when you say to James: "I am not worried about the competition. These companies may have a little more media attention; however, it's all in the product and the quality of the product...", I think perhaps you're overlooking an important point.

Unfortunately, it's NOT "all in the product and the quality of the product..." If it were, beta would've caught on--not VHS. Life is filled with countless other examples of persons or companies who clearly had superior products than their competition...and yet who nevertheless failed--for a variety of reasons--to capture their expected market share (or people's imaginations, or whatever). It's an undeniable fact that savvy media advertising--especially today--goes a long (some would say inordinate) way toward the success of any product in the marketplace.

For instance, a truly superior sculptor, painter, poet or musician may be miles ahead of his or her competition--artistically speaking--yet if he or she fails to "catch on" with the public (probably due in large part to improper promotional efforts from agents, etc.), forget about it! Happens ALL...THE...TIME.

Again--I'm long FTEL, and I enjoy your posts. Keep 'em coming!

Shalom all
