Greg,
Re -- the problem is Intel has bet it's entire 10 fab strong company on the wrong end of the market. The high END.

Intel is positioning itself for ALL segments of the market. Now with the chipsets R&D work, The software etc.. Intel will be able to produce a LOW END PC with a PentiumII 300 by Mid 98, much cheaper than AMD with its K6 can.

Given a choice of a PentiumII300, and AMD 233 for $799, which one would you BUY?

AMD's CPU fate is sealed, NUSANCE.. They have until Mid to 3Q 98, before ITS the END.. and everyone SEES ITS the END.
