Waiting for the great financial collapse is like waiting for the second coming. Finally, 11 years late, we have Dow 16,000 coming into view [as predicted by me in the late 1990s]. There was a gap of 10 years due to financial relativity theory adjustments as debts and government mismanagement wastrelism dragged the world down.

There is still opportunity for a big collapse but it's a fading dream [not one I have shared].

New Zealand now is pretty much in the black and should be next year after years of going backwards fast as wastrelism met recession.

Which is not to say that the umpty$trillion debts of the USA are going to be repaid other than in devalued dollars.
