No surprise tejek. People are still watching the show. In general (unaffiliated) people will hesitate to impune the honor of another person until or unless something substantial is held up in their face. Partisan outrage on either side is not taken serious. People will support the status quo because it gives them comfort. We were hesitant to believe Bill Clinton was lying to us until there was a blue dress, and then the party loyal said they didn't care.

I remember Lizzy Tudor saying he is accused of having sex... big deal. If he were accused of something serious like harassment or molestation then I would condemn him. Its not like he is a sexual predator or anything.

Then he was ... but lizzy said it is just his word against hers/theirs. If he were accused of rape or something then I would condemn him.

Then he was ... but lizzy said we don't know who is lying here. If it were proven he is lying then I would condemn him.

Then it was shown he was lying ... but lizzy lowered her bar again predictably. Lizzy was fairly typical of how the majority of people already fixed in partisan service to the clintons behaved.

None of that is surprising to me. People watching the show don't want to see how the magician is making the illusion. When the show is over, however, people come to their senses and things change very fast. We will take back the streets (from the government). What will be the catalyst? I think it will be another event like Kent State that finally causes people to shake off their fascination with the illusionists, but who knows.
