It is not doing much more than making a chip which disappears in a week or so once the media moves on to some new issue.

The outrage expressed by involved right wing politicos is written off as an annoyance by the less informed public, and will likely be less important as time passes.

Over time the Obama Administration is becoming emboldened and convinced that they can do no wrong. It remains to be seen where this will lead. Some anamoly like the Kent State shooting in 1967 may become a turning point. We already have tin soldiers kicking in doors and that isn't raising eyebrows. Bengazi, IRS, and DOJ issues are not being taken serious by the masses of people. Most people can't tell you what happened in Benghazi and think the other two are conspiracy theories rather than actual government activity.
