An article in this week's New Yorker magazine describes experiments in placing light weight wind turbines on kites soaring at 1000 feet above the earth to generate power more economically than fixed wind turbines mounted on long poles. Have you seen any information on this technology? It is being financed in part by Google. Art Bechhoefer
