wolfgang, from my sidekick95 database here is what i have as of 5:16pm 12/5/95:

ABF
Airborne Freight Corp.
52 week low, now, high = $21.25 - $71 13/16 - $71 13/16
price/book = 2.48
price/earnings = 15.31
price/sales = 0.50
roa = 7.74%
roe = 20.75%
ABF provides door-to-door express delivery of small packages and documents throughout the U.S. and foreign countries. For the nine months ended 9/30/97, total revenues rose 18% to $2.16 billion. Net income applicable to Common rose 441% from $16.5 million to $89.3 million. Revenues benefitted from higher yielding overnight shipments and the result of a strike at UPS during August. Earnings also reflect strong productivity improvements and continued emphasis on cost controls.

made a new 52 week high today at 71 13/16. yet this stock still looks nearly cheap with plenty of room to grow. the fundamentals suggest this stock is not yet out of reach and is a high quality offering. i need to compare it to the competition to see just how good its numbers really are - relatively.
