Continuued aprehensiveness.........ASCEND up. CNBC reports ASCEND up on indications of merger. No longer do they report merger with LU or credit Maria with scoop. Approach has considerably softend. I am still trying to focus the picture painted in the last 48hrs.....Morey expects to meet earnings and Maria's rumors of LU's buyout. IS Ascend still a player in networking? What is their strength going forward? What areas of the market are they apt to be a problem to COMS? Robotics networking exposure was equal to Ascends, but they also had the modem business. Suspicions...Ascend is on the ropes and trying to increase share value and marketablity, although they are a viable company presently their future is uncertain. Will they burn-out,be bought-out, or compete.
