| Hey, Count, I'm a critic of the Three Stooges, not a fan, remember! Wasn't I was a harsh critic of their unseemly behavior long before it became fashionable? Did they repeatedly conceal the truth about what was happening to their business? You bet they did. Did they actually tell lies about the present state of affairs? Well, in my considered opinion, they did at least once, but as a rule they were quite careful not to overstep the line. They are a bunch of incompetent jerks, not a gang of criminals. There is no shortage of white-collar criminals in this world of ours. They can launder the cartel's drug money and facilitate the financing of terrorism with impunity; they can systematically sell investment-grade garbage to unsuspecting investors with OBVIOUS CRIMINAL INTENT and get away with it. Now, those people are worthy of the "crook" label. These idiots, not so much. They are definitely worthy of the "idiot" label, though. |
