If you could save just one innocent life would you change the gun laws?

Yes? Good then you should get rid of the restrictions on gun ownership by law abiding citizens who save lives in about 400 cases per year when defending themselves and others against a mortal attack, and likely multiples of that number in cases where they don’t have to kill the violent attacker to stop the attack.

Justifiable homicide: a killing without evil or criminal intent, for which there can be no blame, such as self-defense to protect oneself or to protect another.
