HI GZ and Fintas,

Almost every stock I track is being pushed up to the upper keltner band.

That is a sign of a strong market - it also is where the very best selling is done.

Unless we are in a bull of historical proportions - it is time to lighten up.

We may well be in that kind of a historical bull.

I'm holding my core positions and not seeing much out there that is a buy right now.

Global economy is in recovery gear.

Talk about slow growth is the same thin as saying record corporate profits.

Even governments are taking in more money (tax increases and overall recovery - just think even banks will start to pay taxes).

Fintas has taught me to - if you can see the up - you must also see the down.

This market has been stretched to the upside almost every where except miners and gold.

Commodities have had their run and now marging expansion for firms making stuff will show better profits.

Heads up from americas farm belt - The heavy snows and late cold gave our alfalfa crops a large winter kill.

Alfalfa seed is being horded and not available - very expensive if you can find it for sale.

This will drive up cost of feeding cattle.

It also will force farmers with poor alfalfa fields to plow them under and more than likely put into corn and/or soybeans.

Both will have record plantings and weather has delayed planting quite a lot vs last year which was very early.

Old football team mate told me this last night at favorite wattering hole.LOL

Alfalfa seed is 300.00 a bag and there is none to find.

Late plantings will most likely mean a weak first cutting and no third cutting.

Beef will be a good long if we get a dip here - da boys will want to load up before the price goes ballistic.

As chief says think like a kriminal.

If you are close to the market - you know this to be the case.

Got to go and hang rain gutters on my building - have a great day.

Don't know where to go for a cattle chart, but I thought I'd throw out the FA from farm land.

Bob
