Lot of people don't know that Buddhism has a similar view of sexual morality to Christianity's, has multiple heavens and hells, and believes morally wrong behavior will be punished. It also believes in supernatural things for which there's no scientific evidence at all, like karma and reincarnation.

Thats why many of the same devotional and worship aspects of Buddhism & Christianity can both be seen as corruptions of the original teachings of the Buddha & Christ . Both religions would be far better if rid of of naive, petitionary, and superstitious trappings of religion altogether & just get with the real program.

Where do you think the idea of religious relics came from which was hugely important for the Christian religion & cathedral building at that time? It certainly pedates Christianity & ties directly back to Buddha's death & an earlier religious ritual tendency of many 1000s of years before. After his cremation bones & teeth were saved & great temples built up around them just like in medieval Christianity, the same thing 1500yrs later.

Do you think Jesus was the first young human sage that wandered out in the desert & communed with nature? That tradition goes back historically before Buddha of a 1000 yrs easily with the Jain saints that made Jesus look like a puppy when it came to love of life & pacifism.
