There is no doubt that Bush policy kept the economy rolling far longer than anyone might have anticipated. But the crash was caused by the Clinton revisions to CRA in the late 90s. Bush pushed hard to get those changes undone or fixed. But it is a fact he didn't get it done. Had he accomplished that objective the country might have been spared the devastation brought about by 8 years of incompetent Obama policy.
