So interest expense on national debt is about where it was 13 years ago? Paying 6.5% on $6T in 2000 or 2.5% on $17T in 2013? Why do we not ever hear this point mentioned? Basically if rates stay low it is easily manageable. If rates explode to what the average was just in the 1990's we will really be a lot like Greece? The combination of Bernake, globalization, technology and overcapacity will 'save' us?
