Texas Dude, its unfortunate that you sold at this low price. It very well could be the bottom. I must point out that you are wrong about the shorting by the Swiss. The shorting was probably initiated at 4 1/2 or somewhere in that realm. Since they were buying the stock at somewhere in the 3.40 or less area, they have an automatic built in risk free profit. They just have to hold the restricted shares for 1 year and then after that, cover the shorts. Wala, they have a risk free profit. Quite an excellent strategy actually. That is probably the main reason that JMAR's price dropped. Yesterday the cap was lifted and the stock is starting to firm up. JMAR is headed for great things in 1998, its a shame that you will miss the excitement.
