TGW, if you have any question in your mind about the long term stock performance of CS versus its competitors just click on charts(at the left) and do a 48 month comparison chart of CS, CSCO, BAY, ASND, NN and COMS. Guess which is the only stock among that group that shows a LOSS over the past four years? While several of them have gains of +600%. Even BAY shows some sort of substantial gain and they have not exactly had a happy run over the past couple of years. Of the major networking companies this is the WORST performing stock of the bunch. A big time shake up is what is needed here and some serious cost controls... If they make the right moves they can turn things around, but, a four year downtrend in the networking business would not inspire much confidence if I was a stockholder. I'm not...thankfully.
