Jozef, I recently assembled a 266MHz PII system and discovered that the Supermicro P6SLS MB with LX chipset offers AGP, a 2940UW SCSI controller and a Yamaha sound chip for a total MB cost of $299 (Q1).

Since the VAR wholesale for the UW and sound total at least $210, it was like getting the MB for $89. When PII/233/512K chips hit $283 in January, it will be VERY hard to justify spending more money on an FIC 2012 and an M2 to get similar features.

Once again, the heat is on CYRX to deliver enhanced products before Intel rips the rug out from out under them.
