If we let every rich bimbo tear down whatever historic property they want to satisfy their latest whim........we will lose all our historical structures of merit. They knew when they bought the house that there was a historic designation pending..........don't buy a house on the registry if you plan to do a tear down.

The rich can be some of the most arrogant, stupid people in the world.

'Real Housewives' Star Battles to Demolish Historic Mansion

gma.yahoo.com

The reality show "star" and her husband, the "Boob God" (no joke), want to demolish their crumbling historic mansion and build something new, but they're being stopped by the Miami Beach Preservation Society who wants to keep it preserved.

While I think this couple is probably one of the most shallow millionaire pairs in the country, I don't think anyone should be able to tell them what they can or cannot do with their own house. If the Preservation Society wants to keep the house intact so bad, they can raise funds to buy it themselves, or have the government buy it out using their powers of eminent dom
ain.
