Well I would mention the 3+ times correction on you basic numbers taking into account air has a specific heat of around .24 and salt water .8+ Fresh water has a specific heat of 1. So you multiply the 500 time by 3+ and then you have a more accurate crude estimate. I would wag 1750 times.
