Hell Chinu, they wanted to fund the food stamps by cutting crop subsidies. Any dem in an agricultural state who did that, like Harkin, would be toast. If Harkin did not vote for it, it is because he could not politically, because he is a really good guy. There is no crazy far left. Name one Dem in the senate you consider a crazy far left person, or anyone. There is just the left. Obama ran a left/liberal campaign, we liberals all know that. <<You may want to consider quitting your "arm chair" advocacy of liberalism.
