You see with little more fine tuning, little steps at a time, even you can be led finally to see the the true lineage of those lights of human intellect that gave men cause to recognize something which saves all in the end. And nothing unites mankind more than science & has offered anything more stimulating to view , to the atheist or believer alike equally or sparked the human imagination so much. We could add the Arts to the Sciences & that would complete the picture, try to imagine a world without the two, you aren't left with much. As for religion's creator , take a look at nature raw & uncut or human history and what you see is one of the most vicious "law makers" imaginable. You couldn't even dream up a demon more evil or an angel that was so terrible & bloodthirsty which caused a world to exist with more violence, continuous pain & suffering than this so called "father" creator. What was the great revelation again, this universal mind was guiding you too? You just acknowledged the mind of Pythagoras & guarantee you that fellow really had a clue , now where else do you find such ideas that are expressions of some universal approach of equanimity & higher virtues?
