koan your birds are going to miss you when you're gone. i was only kidding about the 'too much information" remark. i use that when i don't know what else to say <g> yes, you can get to haida gwaii by ferry from prince rupert, or from port hardy. you can fly to masset from the south airport in vancouver, or you can fly to sandspit from vancouver airport. which ever way you choose to come, its expensive. more's the pity. if you fish in the surf you will be the only one and many people will probably gather 'round to watch and point at you and giggle. i'm just sayin'. :) Feast today: fresh king salmon and followed by Marie Callander lemon meringue pie-lol. hmmmm good. that sounds delish. i started work today at the airport - my part time summer job herding fishermen from plane to helicopter and back again. i LOVE IT!! everyone's so happy to be here .... joy like that is infectious and you can't help but pick it up and pass it on. its been a good day. -hoser
