Yes but many assume the market float to be honest and accurate and that the DTTC functions.

I would submit if one were to do an AUDIT of what is suggested the float is as to what the true exposure is one's eyes would be EYES WIDE OPEN.

However I do agree with you re facilitating malfeasance. Or as Mark Mitchell recently wrote in his article on deep capture. How does one ban something that doesn't exist? This was in referance to Naked Short Selling. Many forget how many stated in front of cameras there was no such thing. HMM yet they issued an executive order back in 2008 banning such. HMM.

Wonder what the numbers were showing back then and what REALITY was as they took BSC down in 5 business days.

What's it all mean. Well they have NOT banned NAKED SHORT SELLING. So one can EXPECT ABNSS or the ABUSE of NAKED SHORT SELLING and that means. Be one with the water as Bruce Lee stated and DOWN will be helped by those who use ABNSS.

Where we are UP from apprx 1220 to 1687 YOY that's a strong 400 points UP.

The last time I saw that was towards the end of 2007 as we were up 1565 from 1100 ish and by a miracle they yanked the spx down to near that 1100 in Jan 2008.

I'd say as a perma bull one best not ignore history or ignore the %.

IMHO
