At some point, I suspect the precious metals will explode higher, but maybe not on Monday... or, then again, maybe they will on Monday... Nice rally in the metals. Where will they wind up at the end of the day?
XLU took a dump this morning. I picked up my fourth piece of XLU. Average holdings are now $38.44. I figure, whatever it does I will get a dividend payout at the end of June. I teetered near the bottom price for XLU this morning, trying to pull the trigger on a fifth piece, but decided, "patience". Don't buy. And then..... XLU reversed all losses for the day and is now up, damn it! Sometimes I wish I was more aggressive!
Am I the only one on this thread who plays it conservative, like with utilities? I find it comforting to know that win, or lose, I will still get that dividend payout.
OTOH, I am retired and can't be as reckless as I used to be when I made more volatile plays on biotech stocks.
just that my model is not getting any confirmed buy signals for gold, both buy signals this past week were failed signals and never confirmed, so my model is still short gold since April 1st at 1601.90... so far, the gold market can't hold a rally... Hey! I'm old and retired! I can't wait forever! I am beginning to wonder if we will get a buy signal for gold before I kick the bucket!
