I remember carrying some hand luggage onto a Brazilian plane flying back to Toronto. One of the bags had about fifty pounds of rocks in it. The stewardess said here let me help you, I said no, no, no I'm just fine. If she would have felt the weight it would not be coming on. I heaved it into the over head of the passenger in front of me and we had turbulence all the way back. I had visions of that bag falling out and killing the guy in front of me the whole trip back.
