Kevin:

Yeah, the gang's all here or, as Dan says, all 3 or 4 of us. It's an interesting point you bring up as to Dan being right about Joe Lanza. During the time I've watched the proceedings on this thread Dan has said the primary purpose he has for being here is to educate us all about the nefarious Joe Lanza. It's as good a reason as any, I suppose.

However, Dan only hints and implies or makes oblique references to people, places and things concerning Joe, but gives no clear hard facts as to just what it is he knows about him. Normally, I would not pay much attention to anyone making such innuendoes without facts to back them up.

Joe's reactions to Dan gives me pause though; they lead me to suspect that perhaps Dan does know where the "skeletons" are. I've often noticed that whenever Dan drops one of these innuendoes, Joe cowers, blusters or cringes and crawls to Dan, pleading their friendship and trying to persuade him to tone it down or shut him up with offers of employment and God knows what. Joe reminds me of a little puppy whimpering and wagging his tail after peeing on the floor, while his master, Dan, whacks him with a newspaper for being a "bad doggy" again; but the puppy keeps coming back for more. It seems the puppy wants very much to be liked.

On the other hand, I'm curious as to why Dan doesn't give it to us all point blank about Joe. Is it just because his stuff is only an educated guess that has hit home; is it just because he enjoys torturing Joe and watching him "twist in the wind"; is it just because Dan fell for Joe's "sales pitch" and is angry at himself for allowing someone like Joe to do it? If it is all B.S., why does Joe react so much to it?

In any event, it is all very interesting. Their show is worth the price of admission, i.e., owning this stock...well, O.K., that's hyperbole, but you get the drift.
