Well, this does sound strangely like discussions we were having over a decade ago.... Bonds will wag the dog in this case. I think the questions are how much money flees to the the Dollar, how much inflation does it cover-up, and when does the US bond market balk. Rising interest rates will force a lot of hands.
But there are a lot of Dollars overseas, and the Fed will sacrifice every other economy in an attempt to avoid the truth of its own mistakes.
