"You can't define "efficient"."

I meant to imply
en.wikipedia.org

"Finally, I see these as a cyclical situation

What's that?"

Someday mining will be a good thing and profitable. I don't think the mining industry is going away.

"Getting a little money always brings out the fool.

I'm thinking 3 to 5 years, 50% gain.

50% loss"

Your right, should you chose to extrapolate. The market seems to agree with you. Its all right there for you to read. Everyone I've read agrees your right. It just screams obvious short. Hence my interest in the first place. Only once every couple of years do I see a whole industry die like this one.

"Getting a little money always brings out the fool."

Sure cant be a fool in 100% cash. Cant be much of anything in 100% cash. Wasnt it you that said something like you must take risk to benefit. I think this qualifies.

"You should stay out of the stock market. 100% cash. It is likely to crash based on what I've posted over my last 100 posts."

Without trying to define "crash" and how" long" could we agree that 10/07 to 2/09 was a crash? if so
these stocks seem to be a lagging market movers, plenty of time to cut losses.

But I just Dont see the right sentiment yet. ( defining sentiment as the general feeling I get from the people, news and research I read everyday). First I've yet to look at my statement more than once a day. (though I admit to updating my 401k spreadsheet). I hear little, "oh well I might as well get in". people I know talk about riding this down move for a bit. After that 10% correction they'll get in (no they wont). my prediction is The "crash " will happen when the "great rotation" becomes obvious. Even I wont want to get out.

I am a bit disappointed though I figured you for a hard asset or mining insight idea kind of guy. Lots of hype, hyperoble, and sacred cows to cut through to come up with a gem. Nothing?

Personally I think you, goldman and the hedgies are keeping a lid on this thing so you can ramp in to a killer position on the cheap while letting us little guys twist in the wind.
