The stock right? No sir. My philosopy is, picking shorts for the right reasons is every bit as difficult as picking longs. With a "pure" short position you pay interest and losses are theoretically unlimited. With synthetic short positions utilizing options you have the additional "time" burden. There are always good long candidates... why play the downside when you must contend with these extra disadvantages? I prefer the path of least resistance<gg>. MEATHEAD
