Hi Doug,

Good job. Excellent analysis! I am guessing that 1998 will be the year that DVD make serious inroads into the mainstream. At the end of last year, many thought that 1997 would be the year. I thought that those predictions were premature. I do think that now we are much closer and that by the end of 1998 most if not all big box makers like DELL, GATEWAY, MICRON, CPQ, IBM, HP, etc. will be selling a lot of machines with DVD. Many box makers currently offer Soundblaster products as an upgrade to a lesser alternative. Hopefully, you are right and CREAF can ink a couple deals with some of the big OEM's to sell entire DVD/Multmedia solutions installed on their PC's. This would be a key addition to their strong aftermarket business.

Thanks again for your thoughtful post,

FF
