I called 7 of the 31 country clubs this morning to do my own survey. Six of them were very positive and the seventh admitted that the technology is not only coming but important. The lady in the pro shop in the seventh course said that the members were not very computer oriented but that they were getting used to it. I got the sense from talking to one of the other clubs that the members at the seventh club were possibly older people that were" set in their ways". The other six clubs were unequivocally positive. The last club told me the system is easier than it's ever been and that the tech is very important. "The members watch their scores like they watch their kids." Dr. Vertucci says their survey was 85 percent positive. That's pretty impressive when you consider how many older members don't care about computer technology. After doing this sampling I am convinced that the USGA will go forward with the rollout. In fact, I ended up telling almost every pro where they could purchase this stock. When the market gets over this huge overreaction to the copyright issue, then this stock will soar.
