Anyone who thinks that calling someone and keeping that secret is possible hasn't watched any cop or spy/terrorist TV shows and movies in the last decade. With a burner phone, yeah, but even then they will trace where it was bought, video footage of who bought it maybe etc. No doubt the criminals and terrorists are six levels beyond that now, and the cops and spooks too.
