RE: Another Explanation for the 50K drives and 90K disks... Another explanation just hit me... Maybe that's all that SyQuest could AFFORD to build this quarter. It takes money to ramp up a new product and build up inventories. And money is one thing that is in short supply at SyQuest. SyQuest bulls can discount this theory all they want, but I think there's a strong possibility that it's the true reason for the low production.
