Hold on... in MRBIGAIR's (Jeff's) defense, he has stated the exact
words "there have been no significant changes" with regards to the
slots. He is very limited in what he can openly post on BOBZ, but if you read his posts very carefully, you can learn a lot - often more
than he intended to say! Without MRBIGAIR, we'd all sit around for
weeks or months just waiting for press releases. Would you prefer
that?? I don't think so. It's reassuring to know there's someone
out there who is so involved and so available as MRBIGAIR.

Also, I picked up the following post by "BUBBA" from BOBZ as it seems
relevant:

MRBIGAIR
posted on BOBZ about two weeks ago that he had personally seen the
shiny slot machines at the factory and that the remaining slots were
being readied for testing.

Now, I have inquired about these specific issues and the following
is my understanding of the matter. I have read every post on SI and
BOBZ and done my own research as best I can. So, with that in mind...

From Noram's own mouth, they figure the lottery to be worth tens of
millions whereas the slots were hundreds of thousands. Further, the
slots were designated for a single casino, not widespread public
access as with the VLTs. This is why the VLTs are of much greater
importance.

In my opinion, Noram has many projects underway and has considered
whether or not the slots are of immediate need to the casino, the fact
that the exact date the slots are readied is beyond Noram's control,
and the relative importance of the slots vs. the successful
establishment of the lottery. It would be reasonable that the VLTs
be **NOW** and the slots follow shortly rather than the other way
around.

If you check, the VLTs themselves were to have originally been in
place weeks ago. The fact that the slots are delayed is no different.

As Jeff says, some things are beyond Noram's control and some things
just are of greater importance. Nothing has changed - the slots are
still going.
