That sounds very much like my Father-in-Law. I believe he will be 94 this September, cuts his own firewood, mows 3 acres of grass every two weeks, drives to town, and goes to his Bomb Group reunions once a year. He flew a B-17 on 13 1/2 missions and spent two years with free room and board provided by the Germans. He doesn't drink rum, though.
