Founder/Director Winningstad - At 71+ years old - Time for him to sell ??

At his age, I would think his priorities are different from your's & mine. And we might consider thanking him for making TMSR possible and wish him well with the fruits of his investments.

As usual ES has made his points well and is doing his best to keep the spotlight on TMSR's management.

To get a sense of what we've been through this year, I suggest a prospective investor take the time to read all of the posts in this very focused & informative thread. You owe it to yourself to be as informed as possible. We've come a long way since I started buying at 9 only to have it drop like a stone to 7, rally to about 9 only to sink back to the 7s again. And by the way, the spread back then was exactly what is today - .50-.75/share. At current price levels, the spread has actually dropped 50% from what is was this past Spring!

Anyway, thanks to ES and others who post here, we have learned about a lot of positive things TMSR has going for it that apparently did not make it into the current prospectus (my copy hasn't arrived yet.)

On the subject of copies, I've already sent out a couple of reprints of last week's two page Sunday Oregonian coverage to thread members. If anyone else is interested, just send me an email request.

On the subject of Microsoft - they are not referred to as the 'Death Star' for no good reason, because they can easily afford to buy whatever advertising coverage/shelf space and favorable magazine reviews it takes to bury any competitor it chooses to target.

But that is nothing new and somehow TMSR management has been up to that frightening challenge so far. My hope is that once the 1998 NASCAR season begins, we'll see the Steering Wheel market become much more than just an Xmas event. I agree with ES that its obvious that the Steering Wheel/Driver Ed combination is also going to be a positive year 'round program as well.

In the meantime, thanks for joining us on this thread.
