You are correct that this "study" was not funded by Pfizer. Pfizer is capable of far better than this. This is absolutely a joke. I worry about anyone who takes it seriously.

>>-Lancet is a very respected and influential medical journal in the UK. Similar to JAMA in the United States.<<

That's what makes the whole thing so bizarre--that Lancet would stoop to publish such total idiocy. Really it calls into question the credibility of Lancet, unless it is someone's idea of a joke. I would hope the reaction on this board would be the same whatever drug might have been used in such a bogus trial. Can you imagine Viagra patients being subjected to similar idiocy and idignity.

It doesn't take an MD to realize the penis is not meant for lifting weights and that the test of a good erection is not its ability to suspend a kilogram of weight in the air for an arbitrary period of time. If the market takes this seriously, God help us all, shareholders and shorters alike.

If this "study" (and I use the word as loosely as possible) has any effect whatsoever on the stock price, the US is heading down the tubes a lot faster than I thought. On the other hand, if investors are truly that stupid, it should be a lot easier to make money in the market.
