you always sell SPYder's short...this will quickly and efficiently neutralize a bear market. No one is immunized in any stock or any sector. The lesson, that seems to be lost, is simple: you don't have to ride out a bear market, and just wait out the recovery. You pre-plan your actions if and when stock start a downturn. Greg
