What security of this nation is violated by letting people know about the "blanket" surveillance program. All these claims about not knowing details etc. is baloney. The issue here is that they are doing this to everybody and not specific to any particular group. And while Congress was busy in partisan politics with the liberals and conservatives pointing fingers at one another for snooping "on their people", here was Snowden basically telling them them that they were hypocrites and instead were ganging up against the American people in general. The Congress needs to be booted out. They are too busy with their stuff and do not care about the people's stuff.
