Greetings Alan, Who is a Jew ? , Let the word of God speak for itself. ROMANS 2:28-29, " For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit,not by the letter, and his praise is not from men, but from God ". One might call himself a jew according to their place of birth or ancestry but today unless you have the faith of Abraham in your heart you are not the true Jew according to the Bible. We are living in in the New Covenant. I have personally met jewish brothers and sisters in Christ who have recognized that Jesus is the Christ, the promised One and I have equal love for all my brethren . You tell me to open my heart, well you should heed that advice yourself and consider that Our Lord Jesus Christ is the fullfillment of scripture according to the promise given to Abraham. GALATIONS 3:28-29. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male or female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahams offspring, heirs according to promise. Please consider these words from our Lord Jesus Christ. " I am the way, the truth, and the life , no man cometh unto the Father , but through Me, If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. May God , by His Holy Spirit grant you to see this cornerstone of truth. Robert |
