Have no idea what u mean by western anti~christian, in any case more harm has been done with this hell & purgatory nonsense which held so many i sway for so long. Once Christianity rids itself of these beyond medieval notions it really starts to grow up, no more indulgences, people tormenting & spying on each other (like in communism) which the suspicions, fear & power such an idea gave the such control. Tolerance & a certain maturity starts to enter the picture after certain sects reject these ideas & done away with to focus more on real spiritual living, free of that muck.

What u call anti-Christian really started in the Protestant movement against the older structure & practices of the Roman C itself . As for those speeches by Jesus about hell , if he did really say those things...no Son of God would be that much of a vindictive Drama Queen, they had to have been penned in sometime later or he was sometimes a 1/2 madman in reality.

Of course they were tuff times so we could expect a country preacher to resort to such histrionics, but prolly no other parts of Christian theology has been so detrimental,. damaging & assbackwards than that. This and the insensible stupid notion that man is born with original sin.

What utter bullshit ..and i think on that even u agree.
