Jerry, remember seeing a cryptic Cabot/KLIC warning from you. What's the english translation on that? I know Cabot the newsletter writer and Cabot cheese... your semi-'s seem to be basing, still no where near the enthusiasm we expect. Yah know what's really ironic, is contemplating how much IMF money is actually paying for semi/equip & fab purchases. Damn, we're buying our own stuff while they're paying the interest on it...

INTC has formalized their putting a TV tuner into all their future box cpu packages. Maybe we'll get to a point where the hand held remote holds all of one's personal programs that can interface to a universal monitor/tv/video station... you'd only need to carry around a cell phone sized unit.

A friend is working on a video cam on a chip (literally), which will eventually be installed on the 4 corners of your car with a display in the speedometer area. I guess that will eventually lead to black box units that can replay accidents showing the rates of speed... Hey, while I'm musing like this.. ever wonder why the perpetrators on those 'real' cop shows don't sue for misuse of their images. If it were only a news item, fine, but since its for advertising bucks its for profit and they're entitled to some pay.

Cash flows sure played their part in pushing the averages higher...
Going to look over a few patterns.. later.

Jim
